We have adopted a board diversity policy which sets out the objective and approach to achieve and maintain diversity of our Board in order to enhance the effectiveness of our Board. Pursuant to the board diversity policy, we seek to achieve board diversity through the consideration of a number of factors, including but not limited to educational background, professional experience, skills, knowledge, length of service, gender, age, cultural background and ethnicity. Our Directors have a balanced mix of knowledge and skills, including knowledge and experience in the areas of restaurant operation and management, procurement and supply chain management, equity investment, accounting, commercial law and corporate finance. They obtained diplomas or degrees in various fields, including Chinese language and literature, economics, business administration, applied mathematics, law, international accounting, biology and biochemistry. Our board diversity policy is well implemented as evidenced by the fact that there are both male and female Directors ranging from 27 years old to 56 years old with different background and experience from different geographical locations, industries and sectors. We are also committed to adopting a similar approach to promote diversity within the management (including but not limited to the senior management) of our Company to enhance the effectiveness of the corporate governance of our Company as a whole.
